Stakeholder Industry Event

Get Connected

Boyle, Alberta January 13, 2014

The ALBERTA ENERGY CORRIDOR’s primary task has always been to help the region to identify economic assets and to leverage them to increase investment, wealth and sustainable employment in a diverse range of industries and occupations.   This collaboration aims to support and drive strategic thinking about economic development in the region and provide decision makers and practitioners with the best tools to achieve their objectives.

This collaborative structure and unified approach sets us apart and allows us to lobby for project and partnership funding otherwise not available to these partner’s be they private or public.  The AEC works with different levels of government and industry lobbying for our partners’ benefit in unique and non-traditional formats; as we are not bound by the policies that govern municipalities or “for profit” industry, this creates a unique ability to reach farther and into new untapped pools of resources creating a growing and sustainable environment for both our industry and our municipal partners.
