Alberta Energy Showcase Well Received!

The Alberta Energy Corridor’s Industry Showcase held on March 12 was well attended.  Community and Industry came together to support each other in their area initiatives and the feedback from each participant confirmed everyone who attended was well informed and looking forward to putting tasks into action.

Appreciation to all presenters including a special thank you to Michelle Wright from Access Pipelines Inc. Highlighting on continued support in the Portage College Pipeline Training Centre.  Trent Keough and Stu Leitch with Portage College were passionate and engaged the observers while Kelly Harris-Martin from Community Futures reached out to the entrepreneurs in our midst and how her office can help them with their business plans and start up financing.  Among those present to support the AEC were Enbridge, Northwest Fabricators Ltd. Tri-Gen Construction Ltd, Dirt Digger Services, Lac La Biche County, Athabasca County and both Community Future offices from Tawatinaw and Lac La Biche.
